Árni Páll Árnason

Árni Páll Arnason (* May 23, 1966 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic politician (Alliance). He was from 2009 to 2010 and Minister of Social Affairs 2010-2011 Minister of Economic Affairs in the Government Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir II

Since 2007 he is member of the Icelandic parliament Althingi for the Southwestern constituency. In February 2013, he was elected with 62% of the delegates' votes, succeeding Jóhanna Sigurdardottir party chairman.
