Arpajon-sur-Cère
Arpajon- sur -Cère is a commune with 6144 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Cantal in the Auvergne region; it belongs to the administrative district Aurillac and is the capital of the eponymous canton Arpajon- sur -Cère.
Geography
The municipality is located in the metropolitan area southeast of the district capital of Aurillac. Neighboring communities of Arpajon- sur -Cère are:
- Aurillac in the north- west and north,
- Giou -de- Mamou in the Northeast,
- Vézac in the east,
- Labrousse in the southeast
- Prunet in the south,
- Roanne -Saint-Mary in the southwest and

The city is crossed by the river Cère and located at the junction of the right inflow Ruisseau de Giou.
