Arrondissement of Avallon
The Avallon Arrondissement is an administrative unit of the department of Yonne in France's Burgundy region. Sub-prefecture is Avallon.
It consists of ten cantons and 149 municipalities.

Before 1926
From 1800 ( the year VIII of the Revolution) and 1926 was the district from the current cantons, with the exception of Ancy -le-Franc, Cruzy -le -Chatel, Flogny -la -Chapelle, Noyers and Tonnerre, the resolution of the arrondissement of Tonnerre, were taken.
