Arthur Jephson

Arthur Jermy Jephson Mounteney ( born October 8, 1859 in Brentwood, Essex, † October 22, 1908 in Sunninghill, Berkshire ) was a British explorer and adventurer.

Life

He accompanied the expedition of Henry Morton Stanley (1887-1889) for the liberation of Emin Pasha. Jephson was primarily known for his diary of the expedition, which was published in 1969.
