Arthur Reinmann

Arthur Rein (b. 1901 Bernese Aargau; † ibid 1983, hometown entitled in Walliswil - Bipp ) was a Swiss weightlifter and Olympic medalist.

His ancestors had immigrated in 1666 from Alsace after Walliswil.

For weightlifting he came rather indirectly. Beginning of the 1920s, pure man worked for the Feldschlosschen Brewery in Wangen an der Aare. As an amateur, he took twice the Switzerland participated in the Olympics. At the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924 he won the bronze medal in the featherweight ( 60 kg). In the Summer Olympics 1928 in Amsterdam pure man came in fifth.
