Arthur Surridge Hunt

Arthur Surridge Hunt ( * March 1, 1871 in Romford, Essex, † June 18, 1934 in Oxford ) was a British papyrologist.

To his life's work, the discovery and publication of many papyri, including especially the Oxyrhynchus papyri at archaeological sites in Egypt, which he made together with Bernard Pyne Grenfell heard. He was succeeded as Professor of Papyrology in Oxford since 1913 Grenfell.
