Artur Górski
Artur Górski ( born January 30, 1970 in Warsaw) is a Polish publicist, politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.
Curriculum vitae
In 1994 he finished his studies of political and social sciences at the Faculty of History and Social Sciences at the Catholic Academy of Theology in Warsaw. In 1998 he received his doctorate. During the doctoral studies, he joined the fraternity " Respublica ".
From 1995 to 1997 he was a journalist of the editorial team and the political department of the editorial office of the country Polska Agencja Prasowa ( Polish Press Agency ). In 1998, he worked as chief editor of the national Catholic newspaper Nasz Dziennik.
Since 1999 he worked in the government administration. In 1999, he was head of political cabinet of the Minister Ryszard Czarnecki. From 1999 to 2001 he was advisor to the Prime Minister, then director of the political cabinet of the Prime Minister.
From 1999 to 2000 he advised the management of the PAP. He was appointed councilor of the Warsaw district of Mokotów 2002. In 2003 he was employed in the Provincial Labour Office in Warsaw, first as head of the Department of Organization and supervision, after which he headed the "inner control".
He was a lecturer at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, and a research assistant of "Bogdan Jański " university. He is the author of publications in the field of history, intellectual history and political science. In the years 1998-2006 he was editor of three monthly Pro Fide, Lege et Rege.
From 1988 to 2004 he was chairman of the club Zachowawczo - Monarchistyczny ( Conservative - monarchist club). Since 2002 he is a member of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS).
In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected on the list of PiS for the electoral district of Warsaw in the Sejm. V. In the legislature, he was Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for the " recovery of respect for the state power ", in which representatives of the PiS and the Catholic- nationalist League Polskich Rodzin - came together ( League of Polish Families LPR). From 10 July 2007 to 4 October 2007, and again from 30 November 2007 he was a member of the Council for the Civil Service of the Prime Minister. He was one of the initiators of the project for a Sejmbeschluss the appointment of Jesus Christ as King of Poland. The resolution was rejected.
In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected with 3,070 votes for PiS again in the Sejm. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for Administration and Home Affairs and Education, Science and Youth.
During a Sejmdebatte on 5 November 2008 he called the newly elected President of the USA Barack Obama, among others, as a "black messiah of the new left." He quoted the words of his colleague Mr Stanisław Pięta what Barack Obama a " disaster waiting to happen " and the " end of civilization of the white man " was ..
In an interview on April 12, 2010 Górski imputed the Russian governance, against all evidence to blame for the plane crash near Smolensk in which, among other things, President Lech Kaczynski was killed. He claimed, among other things, the plane had crashed because the Russian authorities have repeatedly tried to stop them under the pretext of bad weather to land in Smolensk, because they did not want it that Kaczyński take part in the memorial ceremony in Katyn and thereby possibly criticizing the Russian government.
