Artyom Shaloyan

Artyom Shaloyan (born 31 July 1976) is an Armenian- German weightlifter.

Artyom Shaloyan was born in Armenia. He is married and has two children. Shaloyan lives in Altrip and starts for the AV 03 Speyer. The sport soldier ( lifer ) of sports promotion company in Bruchsal is trained by Michael Father and Head Coach Frank Mantek. Since 1986, he engaged in weightlifting. In 1995 he won the bronze medal at the European Championships. In 2007, he finished 16th at the European Championships in the snatch, and jerk 13 and 14 in a duel. The World Championships ended Shaloyan in the class up to 69 kg as 31, 2008, reached Shaloyan during the Olympic Qualification 305 kg and reached his personal best. He missed so although the Olympic standard to three kilograms, but was nonetheless nominated for the Olympic Games of Beijing. The best performances of the B- Squad athletes are 135 kg in the snatch, 170 kg in the jerk and 305 kg in single combat
