Arvid Wallman

Arvid Carlsson, Håkan Herbert Wallman ( born February 3, 1901 in Gothenburg, † October 25, 1982 ) was a Swedish diver. In 1920, he became Olympic champion in easy diving.

Wallman started for the club Simklubben S02 Gothenburg. He took in 1920 at age 19 in Antwerp for the first time in the Olympic Games in part. There he went to the so-called simple diving, had to be shown at the four less acrobatic jumps from 5 m and 10 m height. He won the gold medal superior front of his countrymen Nils Skoglund and John Jansson. At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he again took part in the simple tower jumping, finished in the finals but only eighth.
