Asgeir Dølplads

Asgeir Dølplads ( born August 26, 1932) is a former Norwegian ski jumper.

On January 1, 1953, the learned Oslo Hairdressers in Garmisch -Partenkirchen was the first winner of cracking the Four Hills Tournament. With 78.5 and 81 meters Dølplads won ahead of Austrian Josef Bradl and the German Toni breeding shear. In the other two in Oberstdorf and Innsbruck Dølplads jumped to the third and to second place, which was before the final jump in the Tournament standings just half a point behind the leader Sepp Bradl. With a seventh place in Bischofshofen Dølplads but missed his chance of victory and slid in the overall standings of the Four Hills Tournament 1953 even behind his compatriot Halvor Naes in third place.
