History

Ashurst was founded in 1822 in London under the name Ashurst Morris Crisp by William H. Ashurst, John Morris and Sir Frank Crisp. 2003, the firm was renamed in Ashurst LLP.

To March 1, 2012 joined Ashurst their Asian business with the Australian firm Blake Dawson together. At the time decreed Ashurst worldwide through more than 900 lawyers, including 200 partners, and was in Abu Dhabi, Brussels, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, Rome, Singapore, Stockholm, Tokyo, Washington, DC present. 15 September 2013, the Finanzrechtler Dr. Tobias Krug released the real estate partner Peter Junghänel from the Managing Partner of the German offices of the firm. Peter Junghänel held the position since 2009.

On September 26, 2013, the partnership of Ashurst LLP and Ashurst Australia decided the full economic integration of the two firms, which entered into force on November 1, 2013, a large majority.
