Askersund Municipality

Askersund is a municipality (Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Örebro County and the historic province of Orebro. The main town of the municipality is Askersund.

History

Besides the village Askersund there used to be in the region of four parishes ( socks ), which were summarized in municipal reforms in 1952 and 1971 on the church today.
