Association of Joan Country communes

The Communauté de communes du Pays de Jeanne is a municipal merger ( Communauté de communes ) of ten communities in the far north-west of the department of Vosges in Lorraine.

The Local Government Association has 2,509 inhabitants (2008) to 128.73 km ², which is / corresponds to a population density of 19 inhabitants km ². Headquarters of the Federation, one of the smallest of Lorraine, is the community Coussey.

The name of the company founded on 31 December 1998 Association points to the member town of Domremy -la -Pucelle, birthplace of Joan of Arc - with the Joan of Arc 's birthplace and the Basilique du Bois- Chenu an important tourist attraction in a more structurally weak environment.
