Assunta Meloni

Assunta Meloni (* April 21, 1951 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino. She was from October 1, 2008 to April 1, 2009, together with Ernesto BENEDETTINI Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Life

Meloni has a degree in languages ​​and foreign literature at the University La Sapienza in Rome. Subsequently, she completed a two-year study of English at the University of Urbino. From vocational college teacher, she taught at the historical and the education faculty of the University of San Marino. From 1996 to 2005 she was chairman of the oncology Association of San Marino. She is married and has two children.

Policy

Since 2005 member of the National Alliance Popolare, in 2006 became the first time, the Parliament of San Marino elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale.
