Athletics at the 1904 Summer Olympics – Men's 100 metres

The 100 -meter run of the men at the Olympic Summer Games 1904 in St. Louis was held on September 3, 1904 at the Francis Field. It was attended by a total of 20 athletes. The preliminary round was divided into six runs, each with three or four athletes. The best two of every run, reached the final.

Since Hahn already two competitions - the 60 - and 200 -meter run - could win, he was clear as favorite.
