Moskva River (also known as Moscow Airlines), until October 2010 Atlant -Soyuz Airlines operating under the name, was a Russian airline based in Moscow.

History

Atlant -Soyuz Airlines was established in Moscow as a joint venture in June 1993 by private investors ( 75%) and the city of Moscow. The airline uses the official coat of arms on the tail of the aircraft. The aircraft were initially acquired by Aeroflot, already in July 1993 launched flight operations.

On 6 March 2007 the European Union has nine Russian airlines, including the Atlant -Soyuz Airlines, issued a ban on flights within the European Union. Reason were violations of flight safety. The ban was lifted later, the company offered then again flights into the EU on.

On 17 January 2011, the airline has suspended flights.

Objectives

The airline operating scheduled flights from Moscow - Vnukovo out to various Russian and Eastern European destinations, which are carried out mainly with the Embraer 120.

Within Russia, were scheduled flights to Ivanovo (some several times a day ) and Pskov and temporarily available to Anapa and Sochi on the Black Sea coast. Among the Eastern European objectives included Simferopol (Ukraine ), Minsk ( Belarus ), Liepaja (Latvia ) and Brno / Brno ( Czech Republic), the latter was served with Boeing 737-300.

Atlant -Soyuz was also a significant presence in the charter business, with flights to the States, Luxembourg, China, Egypt (for example Sharm El -Sheikh with Il -86 ), Jordan, Tunisia, Malta, Italy, France, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the air cargo field goals were served in Sudan, Libya, the United Arab Emirates, India, China, South Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan.
