Aubert de Villaine

Aubert de Villaine Gaudin ( born February 8, 1939 in Rennes), a French winemaker, co-owner of the world famous winery Domaine de la Romanée -Conti in Burgundy and active partner as representative of the Villaine family under the two owner families de Villaine and Leroy.

Together with the winemaker Lalou Bize- Leroy Leroy from the family had de Villaine out that the wines of the DRC are among the most sought after and expensive wines in the world.

After a series of disputes or litigation Bize- Leroy resigned as co-owner and winemaker active.
