Augsburg ( also referred to as Augsbury ) is a small cycle-free place ( an unincorporated community) in Pope County, Arkansas, United States.
1883 settled the first German Lutheran families in Pope County, 15 miles north-west of Russellville.
Its name refers to the German city of Augsburg. In 1884 they built their first church, the Zion Lutheran Church. The church burned down in 1907 and also in 1978, in the period 1979 to 1980, she was re-established.
