August Nilsson

August Nilsson ( * October 15, 1872 in Enköping, † May 23, 1921 in Stockholm) was a Swedish athlete and Tauzieher.

Nilsson was a member of the Swedish athletes team at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1900. In the shot put, he was able to prove to ninth place in the pole vault and eighth. He reached his greatest success along with other Swedish and Danish athletes who were a mixed team and were able to win against the French team in the tug of war the gold medal.
