Aumism

As Aumimus (French: Aumisme ) refers to a religious denomination that was founded in 1969 by Gilbert Bourdin ( 1924-1998 ). This sect has its center of faith in their " holy city " Mandarom, a settlement up to 1200 and an average of 400 members in the vicinity of the village of Castellane in the French Alps. The Aumismus is a composition of different faiths, especially from Buddhism. The name " Aumismus " is inspired by the onomatopoeic " Aum " ( Ommm ), which is used in Buddhist and Hindu meditations. The French Aumismus sect has no relationship to the Japanese Aum sect ( Omu Shinrikyo ), which gained worldwide notoriety in 1995 by a poison gas attack in the Tokyo subway.

Basics

The Basics of Aumismus be summarized in five truths:

  • Death is a change of being, a gate that opens. Death in the future Golden Age means "evolution."
  • Suffering arises from the fear of forward development and before retrogression. Who does not suffer does not understand.
  • Pain drives our mind. Properly understood, we make it through a big step towards God. Poorly understood, it leads us straight to hell.
  • Evolution is the school of life with painful limitations and difficult exams. To the law of evolution is one that every living being has to secure the achievement of a higher level goal.
  • The aim of existence is to reproduce his divinity and to overcome the four ages; to reach the state of a Buddha Darpana, a liberated being; and to obtain the diamond eternity.

Mandarom Shambhasalem

The Frenchman Gilbert Bordin, also known as Hamsah Manarah, self-proclaimed " Messiah Kosmoplanetarischer synthesis ", founded in 1969, the holy city " Mandarom Shambhasalem " about 50 km north- west of Cannes on a mountainside overlooking the Verdon valley. Within a short time a number of temples and statues were erected in Mandarom, including a 22 -meter high statue of Maitreya Buddha (1981 ), a 21 m high statue of the " Cosmic Christ " Sword and Shield (1987 ), and a further 33 m high statue of himself Bourdin (1990). The legality of the building permit for the Bourdin statue was later challenged and revoked after a long legal battle in 2000. When the statue was torn against violent protests by religious members on 6 September 2001, this compared with the demolition of the Destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan by the Taliban Afghan fighters in the same year.
