The port of Isigny -sur -Mer at low water
The Aure is a river in France, which runs in the department of Calvados, in the Basse -Normandie. It rises east of Caumont- l'Éventé, the landscape of the Bessin drained initially in a northerly direction, then turns towards the west and ends after 82 kilometers, about a kilometer below Isigny -sur -Mer as a right tributary to the Vire. The opening section is channeled, so ships can to the port of Isigny -sur -Mer boot. The underflow is located in the Regional Natural Park Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin.
