Aureliano Torres

Aureliano Torres Román ( born June 16, 1982 in Asunción, Paraguay ) is a Paraguayan football player.

Career

The full-back started his career in 2000 in the small Paraguayan club Irapuato. With his performance he made the Japanese club Kyoto Sanga attention and was taken in 2002 by this age of 20 under contract. Torres was there, however, adjustment difficulties, and therefore returned in the following year to Paraguay back. There he was active initially for Deportivo Recoleta and later for Sol de América and club Guaraní.

For the latter, he made the final breakthrough and was nominated for the Olympic selection Paraquays, with whom he won the silver medal in Athens at the 2004 Summer Olympics. In the same year he played on July 8 against Costa Rica also his first senior international for Chile.

Thanks to his good performances he succeeded in changing to Spanish club Real Murcia, where he contested the 2005/06 season. Then he returned to Guarani. The following year he was invited by Argentine club San Lorenzo obliged, with whom he won the title in the Clausura tournament in the first season.

In the summer of 2010 he took part in South Africa at the World Cup 2010.

In the season 2012/13 he played 16 games (one goal ) for Peñarol and was with the team Uruguayan champion.
