Aurora Place

Aurora Place is the common name for the award-winning Wohn-/Bürohochhaus by Renzo Piano in Sydney. The official name is RBS Tower. On the site was originally an office building of the Government of New South Wales. Builders were Bovis Lend Lease. In January 2001, they sold the building for $ 485 million.

The east facade of the 41 - story building is convex shaped like a wind -filled sails, and thus corresponds with the nearby harbor and the local opera house. The base disguised piano with the same terracotta tiles, such as the Potsdamer Platz.

In June 2009, Alain Robert climbed the building.
