Aussenkehr is a settlement in southern Namibia on the north bank of the Orange River, which forms the border with South Africa here. The village is located about 120 kilometers south-west of Grunau in the constituency Karasburg - West in the region ǁ Karas. History

Aussenkehr was founded as a farm a German corporation in German South West Africa, which began there in 1910 with extensive irrigation projects. The table grape cultivation and the rapid development of the estate started, however, until 1988, when a Serbian investor acquired the farm. Both the acreage, as well as the workers' settlements arose initially on private farmland. Only in 2003 the investor appropriated the Namibian government 644 acres of land for the formal establishment of the village.

Infrastructure
