Aviolanda

Aviolanda was a Dutch aircraft company in Papendrecht. It was founded in December 1926 by Adolph H. Burgerhout. Aviolanda mainly built aircraft under license, as the first Dornier - Wal, the Dornier Do-24 flying boat, the Gloster Meteor fighter, the fighter aircraft Hawker Hunter and parts for the Lockheed Starfighter F- 104. In 1967 the company was acquired by Fokker and now belongs to the successor company Stork Fokker Aerospace. In this sense, it is a Dutch partner of the European NH -90 developer NHIndustries.

The factory is still located in Papendrecht, where the tail section of NH 90 is produced. Also planned for the Netherlands NH -90 will be equipped there and looked after.
