Ayhan Işık
Ayhan Işık ( born May 5, 1929 in Izmir, † June 16, 1979 in Istanbul) was a Turkish actor.
Life and career
Işık was born in 1929 as the last of six siblings in Konak. He studied in 1953 at the Academy of Fine Arts. He began working as a painter and printmaker. In 1951 he participated in a contest and got to know Belgin Doruk, a then well-known actress of Turkish cinema. He played in more than 200 films.
On 13 June 1979, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to an aneurysm and was used in a hospital, where he was then but could not be saved. He was buried in the cemetery Zincirlikuyu. Ayhan Işık was married and has one daughter.
