Aylward M. Blackman

Aylward Manley Blackman ( born January 30, 1883 in Dawlish, † March 9, 1956 in Abergele (Wales)) was a British Egyptologist.

Research

The main research area of Aylward Manley Blackman were the ancient sites in Nubia as Biga, booing, Dendur, ad - Derr, Faras, Gerf Hussein, Sesebi and Wadi Halfa. His most important studies in Middle Egypt he has made in Meir, where he recorded the local decorated rock-cut tombs and published in 6 volumes.
