Babez for Breakfast

Babez for Breakfast is the fifth studio album by the Finnish hard rock band Lordi. It was released in September 2010.

Creation and publication

The album was recorded from February to March with Michael Wagener in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States. Call Off the Wedding was co-written by Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick. Re-used the band for the design and subsequent revised tour costumes. The first single, This Is Heavy Metal, released as a digital single in advance on August 9, 2010 physically on August 16, 2010, but only as a collector's item with a circulation of 200 copies. A Limited Edition was given the title The Breakfast Box and published on October 18, 2010.

Reception

The album reached number 66 in Germany, in Finland, number nine in the charts. Greg Prato of Allmusic compared the album with 80's Metal and Hard Rock and drew musical comparisons with Rob Zombie. He wrote that if we are looking only to the "shock in the Rock", may you abide by Lordi Babez for Breakfast and. Who wants to have more rock in the equation must be sought elsewhere. He forgave two and a half stars out of five.
