Back to Black is the second studio album by British singer Amy Winehouse. It was released on 30 October 2006 in the United States and on 21 November 2006 in Europe with Iceland Records. The album was recorded in February 2008 at the Grammy Awards for Best Vocal Album ( Pop ) and was the best selling album of 2007.

Background

After the successful especially in England debut album Frank in 2003, on the pop rhythms can still be found amplified, that Back to Black focuses more on soul and R & B, such as in the song Back to Black and You Know I'm No Good but also ska and reggae influences are to be found, among other things, in Rehab and Tears Dry on Their Own.

Back to Black is the third release off the album. It was published on 30 April 2007. The video for the single was filmed in London, close to Gibson Gardens. The video premiere was held on 24 March. November 1, 2007 Winehouse sang the song live during the MTV Europe Music Awards. Your ailing health then provoked extensive media coverage.
