The Bad Bramstedt - class is a ship class of three patrol boats of the Federal Police. The three ships were added in 2000 as a replacement for eight boats Neustadt class in order.

The in Jantar ( Kaliningrad Oblast ) built hulls were built at Abeking & Rasmussen. They feature a hybrid drive with a diesel engine for high speed and separate the electrical drive for economical cruising. The Bad Bramstedt was provided as BG 24 into service on November 8, 2002. On May 2, 2003 saw its Bayreuth ( BG 25 ) and on 18 December 2003, the Eschwege (BG 26). In the course of renaming the Federal Federal Police in the identification numbering change occurred in BP 24, BP 25 and BP 26

The Bad Bramstedt and Bayreuth are stationed in Cuxhaven, the Eschwege in Warnemünde.
