The mountain Bahaya ( Somali: Baxaya ) is - according to the Shimbiris - the second highest peak in Somalia with a height of 2,200 m. It is located south of Qandala, east of Boosaaso ( Bender Cassim ), in the administrative region of Bari. Not far north of the Bahaya the coast lies on the Gulf of Aden.
