Baleswar ( Oriya: ବାଲେଶ୍ବର, Bāleśbar, English and Balasore ) is a town in the Indian state of Odisha with approximately 118,000 inhabitants ( 2011 census ). It lies on the east coast of India on the River Burhabalang and is the capital of the administrative district of the same.
