Balkan Universities Network

The network of Balkan universities emerged in its present form under the reorganization of the Balkan states, the creation of new state and private universities and the introduction of the Bologna rules in the Balkan universities.

The aim of the merger is the mutual exchange of experience in research and teaching, mutual recognition of qualifications, encouraging the mobility of teachers and students and the use of international support programs for student exchange.

In addition to the bilateral meeting is held every year a conference of the Balkan universities at different member locations, most recently in 2010 at the Trakya University in Edirne.
