Ball (crater)

40.31

Ball is an impact crater in the rugged southern highlands of the Moon. It is located between the craters Gauricus the east and Lexell in the northwest on the edge of the heavily eroded crater Deslandres. Further to the south-southwest is the crater Tycho striking.

Ball is circular and without significant signs of erosion. The interior walls are rough and at the center of the crater floor, a relatively large central peak rises.
