The Banja Luka Airport (Serbian: Аеродром Бања Лука / Aerodrome Banja Luka ) is located 28 km north of Banja Luka and is one of four international airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The airport opened in 1976 and was used before the breakup of Yugoslavia only for domestic flights. Only after the end of the Bosnian war and the role of Banja Luka as the new capital of the Republika Srpska was the airport into an international airport.

Objectives

In the commercial airline traffic is currently Zurich, by the Bosnian society B & H Airlines; and Belgrade, Serbia by air, fly. In the meantime, there were connections to Athens, Belgrade, Frankfurt, Ljubljana, Salzburg, Vienna and Tivat.
