Banovo

Banovo is a village with 121 inhabitants northeast of Vrbovec, Croatia.

History

Since 1910 " Banovo " The village is called (in German about: the prince belonging ). At this time the drawn Zagorci have bought the former ducal country, and where the village as his name. Formerly called the village " Prnjarevac " until it was renamed in 1850 to 1880 " Imbiovec ". From about 1890, the village was renamed " Mala Lovrečina ". In the village lived previously mainly staff and workers of the prince.
