Barbara Parkins
Barbara Parkins ( May 22nd, 1942 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress.
Life
Barbara Parkins came at the age of 16 with her mother to Los Angeles, where she studied drama, dance and studied ballet.
Her film debut was in 1961 Parkins in the low-budget film 20,000 Eyes. Then Parkins played with in several television series, which helped her the role of Betty Anderson in the series Peyton Place breakthrough. In the 1964-1969 series produced she was the only female actress who has constantly participated and 1966 she was nominated for an Emmy Television Award for Best Actress in a Series, but lost to Barbara Stanwyck for her role in The Big Valley. They recorded another success with its embodiment of Anne Welles in the 1967 film premiered Valley of the Dolls.
The late 1960s, Parkins moved for a few years in London, where she (1970 ) and howler participated the devil (1976 ) in such films as The rats of Amsterdam.
In the 1960s and 1970s, Barbara Parkins posed several times for Playboy magazine, in its American edition, it was to see in May 1967 in February 1970 and in May 1976.
