Barbara Schüttpelz

Barbara Norton, married Barbara Conrad, before Barbara Lewe - Pohlmann and Barbara Schüttpelz, ( born September 9, 1956 in Essen) is a former German canoeist.

The FIVB World Sportswoman of the KG Food was established in 1973 in the four-man kayak third at the Junior World Championships. In 1974 she took at the World Championships in the adult class to sixth place in the double kayak and fifth place in the four-man kayak, 1975, she was fifth in the double kayak and sixth in four-man kayak. She participated in the 1976 Olympic Games in part in the double kayak. Along with Heath Rosewall tree she placed fifth in 1:53,86 minutes.

At the World Championships in 1978 and 1979 she took fourth place respectively in one kayak. The World Championships in 1983 brought her with Josefa Idem eighth place in a double kayak. At the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, she was behind Agneta Andersson silver medalist in one kayak over 500 meters and bronze medalist in the double kayak ( with Josefa Idem ) over 500 meters and fifth with the four - kayak. In addition, she won 34 German titles. Barbara Conrad was for a time with the canoeists Detlef Lewe (1939-2008) married.
