Barna Putics

Barna Putics [ bɒrnɒ putitʃ ] ( born August 18, 1984 in Pécs ) is a native of Hungary Handball players. It is used in the backcourt positions left and center.

The 2.01 meters tall and 106 kilograms Ungar is since September 2010 when VfL Gummersbach under contract.

He started playing handball at the TV Großwallstadt to the joined his father in the 1990/1991 season. In 1996, he played for the youth team of the Hungarian championship record MKB Veszprém, later also for the first men's team. With this club he won four championships and three cup wins in Hungary; In 2008, he won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2006 and played in the semi-finals of the EHF Champions League. In August 2008 he moved to TUSEM food in the 1st Bundesliga, where he scored 84 goals in 13 games. In December 2008, he signed a contract with FC Barcelona but joined in August 2009 RK Koper. In December 2009, he was obliged by the German first division GWD Minden. After the descent of Minden ended his contract. In September 2010 Putics signed a contract with VfL Gummersbach. 2011 won Putics with Gummersbach the European Cup Winners' Cup.

For the Hungarian men's national handball team Barna Putics has been used 78 times, throwing 172 goals (as of December 10, 2013 ). In the summer of 2012, he took part in the London Olympics and finished fourth.
