Barnim VIII ( 1405-1407 *, † 15-19 Dezember 1451 ) was Duke of Pomerania - Wolgast -Barth.

Life

Barnim VIII was the son of the Duke of Pomerania - Wolgast Wartislaw VIII. After the death of his father in 1415 initially had his widow Agnes of Saxe- Lauenburg the guardianship of her sons Barnim VIII and Swantibor II and of the sons of her brother Barnim VI. , Wartislaw IX. and Barnim VII held. Barnim VIII took part in the privateering of Denmark against the Hanseatic League.
