Barnowiec, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Barnowiec ( German Reinfeld, also: Reinfeld B ) is a village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Kolczyglowy (Alt Kolziglow ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Geographical location

Barnowiec located two kilometers southwest of Kolczyglowy (Alt Kolziglow ) on a side street off Kolczyglowy (at the province road 209 Warszkowo (Alt Warschow ) - Bytów ( Buetow ) ) on Lubno ( Lubben ) to Kramarzyny ( Kremerbruch, along Route 20 Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) - Gdynia ( Gdynia ) ) leads.

The present district Bytów ( Buetow ) is in a southeasterly direction at 20 kilometers distance, the former county town Miastko ( Rummel castle in Pomerania ) is located in the south-west and is 37 kilometers away.

A direct train connection does not exist. The nearest railway station is in Kołczygłówki ( New Kolziglow ) to the state railway line 212 ( Korzybie ( Zollbrueck ) - Bytów - Lipusz ( Lippusch ) ).

History

Reinfeld is the one mentioned in Lehnsbrief of Puttkamer in 1527 for the first time, although the name of the village features as a foundation in the late colonial period. It is here to Barnow possession, which is why it also as a pure field B (ie at Barnow (now Polish: Barnowo ) located ), in contrast to Reinfeld R ( located at Rummel castle, later also Reinfeld Hammer, Polish: Słosinko ) is called, because Reinfeld both places were part of the same county Rummelsburg before 1945 i Pom .. the Polish form of the name takes the relationship to Barnow on also.

Reinfeld had earlier a Freischulzenhof, which certifies the thoroughly German character of the village. During the Thirty Years War and by the Bauernlegen the pure farming village was destroyed. 1685 only six farmers present. 1719 are again eight, and this number remained throughout the 18th century through. The regulatory process was confirmed on 17 October 1823.

Long Reinfeld kept in touch to Barnow ( Barnowo ). 1699 buys Henning Brand of Puttkamer with Barnow also shares of Reinfeld. In 1798, finally bought Jacob George of Puttkamer quite Reinfeld and left the estate to his son in 1819. He sold 1839 Luitgard of Puttkamer born of Glasenapp, and 1866 was inherited by their only daughter, Joan of Puttkamer, who was married to the Prussian Prime Minister Otto von Bismarck, who bought the neighboring Varzin added in 1867. In 1812 there were 133 inhabitants in Reinfeld. Their number increased to 308 and 1871 to 1925 was already 330

Before 1945, the village belonged to the district Rummelsburg i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania. Since 1945, it says Barnowiec and is now part of LandgemeindeKołczygłowy in powiat Bytowski the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Barnowice counts 234 inhabitants.

Church

Reinfeld, with its pre-1945 predominantly Protestant population belonged with Barnow (now Polish: Barnowo ), New Kolziglow ( Kołczygłowki ) Reddies ( Radusz ) and versin ( Wierszyno ) to the parish of Old Kolziglow in which the branch community Lubben ( Lubno ) with turn 13 towns was the parish. Today, living in Barnowiec evangelical church members belong to the parish of Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

Since 1945, predominantly Catholic population live in Barnowiec. The village belongs to the parish Chrystusa Krola ( Christ the King ) in Kolczyglowy (Alt Kolziglow ) in the Office of the Dean Bytów ( Buetow ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland.

School

The establishment of a schoolmaster in 1780 prevented the squire. 1813 counts the school one teacher and 15 children, in 1937, it is one teacher and 47 children.
