Baron Montagu of Beaulieu

Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, in the County of Hampshire, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by a branch of the Scottish Clan Douglas.

Award

The title was created in 1885 for Lord Henry Douglas -Scott - Montagu, the second son of Walter Montagu Douglas Scott, 5th Duke of Buccleuch, and Charlotte Montagu -Douglas - Scott. This had been more than two decades, a deputy in the House of Commons.

Based on the above relationship, the respective Baron is in the title of succession to the titles of Duke of Buccleuch and Duke of Queensberry and the title, which are subordinate to this.
