Baron Palmer

Baron Palmer, of Reading in the County of Berkshire, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is led by the family of Palmer.

Award

The title was created in 1933 for the businessman and philanthropist Sir Ernest Palmer, 1st Baronet. This owner of Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory, which today is owned by the family. He was an important patron of music and sat among other things, on various committees of the Royal College of Music.

Another title

The first Baron was a baronet in 1916, of Grosvenor Crescent, appointed. This title, which belongs to the Baronetage of the United Kingdom is passed as additional tracks on the respective Baron.
