Barra de Carrasco is a city in Uruguay.

Geography

The coastal city is located at the extreme southwestern tip of the Department of Canelones in whose sector 37 It borders thanks to their south-east side of the Río de la Plata. On continuing North-Eastern coast directly connects Parque Carrasco, while in the southwest of Arroyo Carrasco forming the border to Nachbardepartamento Montevideo and the Convention therein montevideanischen district Carrasco. In the northwest of Barra de Carrasco has a common border with the city Paso de Carrasco.

Infrastructure

In Barra de Carrasco is the seat of the Uruguayan national tennis association Asociación Uruguaya de Tenis.

Population

The inhabitants of Barra de Carrasco is 5,410 (as of 2011 ).
