The Barthe is small river in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern and has a length of 34.75 km. It rises in the Borgwallsee at Stralsund in Pomerania, then flows west to Old Hagen, and then to flow from there north to the town of Barth, where it then flows into the Barth Bodden. The last part is also known as Barth current. The river is another popular water walking and fishing area.

The catchment area of the river has a size of 292 km ².
