The Barton Township is one of ten townships in Gibson County in the U.S. state of Indiana. In 2010, Barton Township had 1677 inhabitants.

Geography

The Barton Township is located in southwest Indiana about 35 km north of the Ohio River, which forms the border with Kentucky. The Wabash River, which forms the border with Illinois, located about 45 km to the west.

The Barton Township is located in the southeast of Gibson County and is bordered to the east and south on Pike Warrick County.
