Bat Galim

Bat Galim (Hebrew: בת גלים "Daughter of the Waves" ) is a district of the Israeli city of Haifa. It lies in the north of the city at the foot of Mount Carmel on the Mediterranean. Bat Galim was built in 1921 to plans by Richard Kauffmann's like a garden city. In Bat Galim centers include the former central Egged bus station, the train station Haifa - Bat Galim of Israel Railways, the Rambam Hospital, the Medical Faculty of the Technion and a swimming beach.
