The battle in the Kampinos forest between the Polish Army and the German Wehrmacht took place during the Second World War in the vast forest areas to the Polish city Kampinoska north-west of Warsaw.

Heavy fighting took place between the 9th and 20th September 1939. Remnants of Polish associations broke out of the cauldron of Kutno and tried to join the Polish organizations in the Warsaw and Modlin. German associations sought to prevent this. To this end, the German troops led by attacks from the north and the south in the vast forest area. After heavy fighting, a part of the Polish troops could break through the German encirclement near the village Wólka Węglowa and withdraw with heavy losses towards the Vistula.
