History

After March 2010 the route Gochscheim - Kitzingen - Around Hausen had to be closed because of superstructure defects and the competent supervisory authority district of Middle Franconia BRE an already extended deadline set by the end of April 2011, to enable the process to a safe state, it imposed the first time a penalty against the track operator. This could only restore the end of May 2011, the navigability.

On 26 July 2012, the BRE has leased the Saxony-Anhalt railway Köthen Aken first time a route outside Bavaria. It is used no local staff, so that the crossings must be secured from the train crew. The track is used in the needed ' freight to the port Aken and for special trips.

Once the DRE has taken on April 12, 2013, section Zeitz Tröglitz the Zeitz - Altenburger Railway for further operation of the Chemical and Industrial Park Zeitz on lease, it is operated by BRE as a second track in Saxony- Anhalt. Already on June 5, this route was thus impassable that the flood in 2013 two pillars of the railway bridge over the White Elster severely damaged. Therefore, since the three companies could no longer be served in the Chemical and Industrial Park, the BRE has taken the already abandoned lines Tröglitz - Meuselwitz DB network. After a short-term repair of this section could be used again as a side track to the train station Tröglitz in operation and on June 28, 2013 reached the first freight train after the flood again the Chemical and Industrial Park from the direction of Altenburg.
