Beady Belle

Beady Belle is a Norwegian jazz band of the electronic jazz (Nu Jazz and Acid Jazz ).

Beady Belle was born from the collaboration between the Norwegian singer Beate S. Lech and Marius Reksjø that as a student in Oslo (Lech at the State Academy of Music, at the University Reksjø ) played together in bands such as " Insert Coin ". Beate Lech was also the lead singer of " Folk & Rovere " ( at the Sonet / Universal CD brought out ) and in the jazz project " Metropolitan " ( published by Sony) and Bugge Wesseltoft sang, Brazz Brothers and Jon Eberson. The band is currently (2007) from Beate Lech ( singer, composer ), Marius Reksjø (bass, programming) and drummer Erik Holm ( and sometimes keyboardist Jørn Øien ). The band was formed when Lech at their exit from " Folk & Rovere " in 1999 by Bugge Wesseltoft was given the opportunity to produce for its jazz label " Jazzland " in total artistic freedom own album as their debut album 'Home' was released in 2001. Lech knew Wesseltoft However, ever since she won a TV competition, the price of which was the appearance with a big band at the Molde Jazz Festival. Since 2001, she went outside Norway in Europe and East Asia on tour.
